OAU 40th Convocation;127 1st Class Degrees,9,094 Graduates

University (OAU), at her 40th
Convocation awarded
degrees to a total of 9,094
graduands with 127 bagging
first class honours. OAU has also offered scholarships and employment opportunities to the 127 new 1st class graduates who will emerge at its 40th convocation ceremony

Speaking at pre-convocation
news conference in Ile-Ife on behalf of the institution’s
Vice Chancellor Prof.Bamitale Omole, Prof.Titi Kukugave a breakdown of the graduates.

Kuku said 127 students
earned first class degrees,
2,360 students will be
awarded 2nd class upper
degrees while 4,256 are in
2nd class lower division.

A further 1233 will be
awarded 3rd class degrees
while 123 will get ordinary
pass degrees.

He also revealed that 2,755
with Masters’ degrees, 150
Doctors of Philosophy
digress, 73 Masters of
Philosophy degrees and 394
postgraduate diplomas will be awarded at the
convocation ceremony.
