FG Appoints Prof. Kamoru Usman As New Provost Of Oyo College of Education

The Federal Government has approved the appointment of Professor Kamoru Olayiwola Usman as the new Provost of the Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo.

According to a statement by the spokesman to President Muhammadu Buhari, Mr. Femi Adesina, the appointment is for an initial term of four years.

Until his new appointment, Mr. Usman was Associate Dean of the Faculty of Education, University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).

The 51-year-old lecturer possesses a Bachelors Degree in Science Education, Masters Degree in Education
(Mathematics) and a Doctorate Degree in Education (Mathematics).

Mr. Usman, who is from Oyo state, takes over from Dr Emmanuel Adeniyi.
