FG Approves Establishment of Nigerian Maritime University, Delta State

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has
approved the establishment of the Nigerian
Maritime University, Okerenkoko, Delta
State.

This was during the council’s meeting on
Wednesday presided over by presided over
by President Goodluck Jonathan.

The Minister of Information, Senator
Patricia Akwashiki, made this konwn while
breifing newsmen after the meeting.


According to her, “The meeting of the
Federal Executive Council (FEC) was
presided over by the president with the vice
president and most ministers in attendance.

“In the meeting, there was a ratification of
approval of a provisional license for the
establishment of Nigerian Maritime
University at Okerenkoko in Delta State”.
